CATERPILLAR-3054C-C44-CONNECTING-ROD-ORANGE

359-0720 is a connecting rod for Caterpillar's 3054C and C44 engines in the orange weight-class band. Caterpillar colour-codes rods on these engines by weight class so cylinders can be matched to keep reciprocating mass balanced across the engine without individually weighing every rod on the shop floor — the colour on the rod must match the corresponding class stamped elsewhere on the engine for correct assembly. Orange.net.za ships this part fast, South Africa-wide.
